What is a worksite plan?
Each department is required to create a plan specific to its worksite that meets required health and safety guidelines. These plans include installing signage and other measures to protect employees, prevent crowds from gathering, keep people at least 6 feet apart, prevent unnecessary contact and increase sanitization.
As part of these worksite plans, each department will also designate a supervisor, Department Safety Coordinator or other manager to monitor areas and verify people are following personal protection practices. Progressive discipline will be implemented for employees and students who refuse to follow university guidelines.
Each department will share its worksite plan with their employees.
